Let us all pray today that each one of us would have a burden to see lost people come to Christ. “And seeing the multitudes, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and downcast like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest” Matthew 9:36-38
And, Moms, when the Lord calls, pray that your children, your husband…you…would respond to His call “here I am. Send me” Isaiah 6:8
prayer challenge - day 20
Girlfriends, we know that the thoughts we dwell on are critical. Our thoughts form our beliefs and what we believe is what we behave. So we must be very careful to not only guard what goes into our minds but also to root out the wrong beliefs that are already in there. Let us fervently pray that “we are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ” 2 Corinthians 10:5. We will wage war on the lies that threaten to destroy our children and ourselves and “though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but divinely powered for the destruction of fortresses.” 2 Corinthians 10:3,4
Weapons. What are our weapons? There are two of them. We find them in Ephesians 6:17,18 - “and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. With all prayer and petition, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.” Two weapons. God’s Word and prayer. That’s what we are doing this month, my sisters. Waging war with divinely powered weapons - prayer and God’s Word.

Friendships. Oh what an important aspect of our lives! Pray that your children, your husband and you will choose well. “He who walks with wise men will be wise but the companion of fools will suffer harm” Proverbs 13:20
prayer challenge - day 18
It’s Monday. Likely we are facing lots of demands on our schedules. Pray that we would be wise in how we spend our time, that we would steward our resources of time and energy well. “Therefore, be careful how you walk, not as unwise (wo)men but as wise, making the most of your time because the days are evil. So then, do no be foolish but understand what the will of the Lord is, and do not get drunk with wine for that is dissipation but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and making melody with your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks f or all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ” Ephesians 5:15-20
Pray for your husband and his job. Pray that God would grant him “favor and compassion in the sight of the commander of the officials”, just like He did with Daniel. Daniel 1:9 And pray the same for your job!
